WHAT CAUSED THE POP-UP?

Often, these pop-ups are not a result of an infection on your computer, but instead a malicious and misused
advertisement on a website you were visiting.

Occasionally, they may be caused by certain third-party browser plugins and extensions.

If the pop-up you see says ANYTHING about "ransom" or "crypto", do not perform any additional steps
on your own. Call ACS at 610-461-4627 immediately for assistance.

WHAT TO DO NOW?

1) Restarting your computer is often a good idea.
2) If the popup comes right back, your browser has to be fully reset - give us a call if you need assistance.
